═══ 1. About Home/2 ═══ The Home Automation System/2 application is a Presentation Manager application which can be used to program the X10 CP290 Home Control Interface. ═══ 2. File Menu ═══ The File menu contains the command that you use to exit the Home/2 application. The following command appears in the File menu: Exit Quits the Home/2 application ═══ 3. Exit ═══ You quit the Home/2 application by using the Exit command. To quit the Home/2 application, do the following: 1. Select the File menu and choose the Exit command or press Function key F3. ═══ 4. Settings Menu ═══ The settings menu allows you to set up the base house code, which communications port the CP290 is connected to, and to set the time in the CP290 to the time set in your PC. ═══ 5. BaseHouse ═══ Use this dialog to set the base house code for the CP290. This will allow you to turn on and off the modules set to this house code with the rocker switches on the CP290. ═══ 6. Communications ═══ Use this dialog to set which communications port the CP290 is connected to on your PC. The default communications port is set to COM1. If your CP290 is connected to another port and you do not set this in the Home/2 application, you will get garbage back from the queries and the actions will not work. ═══ 7. Copy ═══ This item sets the time in the CP290 to the same time that your PC is set to. ═══ 8. Settings Menu ═══ The query menu allows you to query the time of the CP290 control unit or list all 128 events. ═══ 9. Time ═══ This item will retun the time and day of week of the timer in the CP290 control unit. ═══ 10. Events ═══ This item will return the settings of all 128 timer events. ═══ 11. Action Menu ═══ The action menu has two choices. The Direct item allows you to control an individual module. The Event item presents a dialog that you can use to set timer events or clear them. ═══ 12. Direct ═══ Use this dialog to turn on, off, or dim a module. ═══ 13. Events ═══ Use this dialog to set or clear up to 128 timers events.
